This page lists the cookies and similar storage CareerOS uses, grouped by purpose, and how to control them. You set your choices in the cookie preferences, reachable from the footer or from Settings, under Data and privacy.
Necessary
These keep the site working and cannot be turned off. They include your sign-in session, your security tokens, and the cookie-consent choice itself.

Analytics
These help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. They are off by default and only run after you turn them on.
→Aggregate page and usage statistics (anonymous), via Vercel Analytics
→Consented product analytics via PostHog. For signed-in, non-internal accounts this may include privacy-masked session replay used only for authorized support investigation. Text and inputs are masked, and sensitive network or console content is not captured.
Marketing
We do not currently set an optional marketing cookie. When you start onboarding, the necessary onboarding session may carry limited, sanitized first-party campaign context so we can measure aggregate onboarding performance. Optional PostHog analytics remains off until you allow analytics.
Managing cookies
You can change your choices any time using the cookie preferences link in the footer, or in Settings, under Data and privacy. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings; necessary cookies are needed for sign-in to work.
