Refund Policy

ResumeGuru is a software product: a one-time watermark unlock and prepaid Pro and Max subscriptions. Refunds are reviewed case by case. This page explains what that means and how to file a request.

The watermark unlock

The one-time unlock (removing the watermark from your resume exports) is not refundable. It delivers its full value the moment it is purchased.

Pro and Max subscriptions

We do not offer a standing refund policy on subscriptions. If something went wrong, you can file a refund request from the Billing page in the app. We review every request individually, and if we find it eligible, we refund it. Filing a request does not guarantee a refund.

Approved refunds go back through Razorpay to your original payment method, typically within 5 to 7 working days.

Billing errors and downtime

If you were charged in error, or charged twice, we refund the incorrect charge in full, no conditions. If the service was unavailable for a meaningful period during your subscription, we make it right with a refund or a service credit.

Legacy writing-service orders

ResumeGuru no longer offers the human resume-writing service. If you have a question about a past writing-service order, write to rohit@resumeguru.in and we will sort it out directly.
